This page says what is going on right now, not what I once planned. It is deliberately short and deliberately goes stale. If the date at the bottom is three months old, that is the most honest thing on the whole site.

At work

Apprenticeship as a Kaufmann für Verkehrsservice, a German apprenticeship in passenger transport services, run in blocks: two weeks in the company, one week at vocational school.

Built on the side

Sick notes in the Ausbildungsorganizer. They now run as a guided flow: the app shows whom I have to notify and when. Behind it sits a maintained contact list from which nothing gets deleted, only archived. The work calendar also recognises shifts and training days on its own and suggests them for the training log.

Study time in the Lernen-App. The study plan produces a goal for each day, with progress shown next to it as a percentage. The study-time record can be exported as a PDF. Maths questions render real formulas instead of workarounds.

Fixed costs and tax year in Finanzkompass. A checklist shows per month what has already been debited and what is still missing. There is also a tax-year page that derives suggestions from my own income. Still no bank connection: receipts get photographed and read.

A fourth project is running alongside, a small fitness coach for training and nutrition data from several apps. It is early, so it is listed under "Projects" as "Being built".

Just learned

That the most obvious solution isn't always the best one. I wanted exam questions generated straight by an AI inside the app. Until it became clear I want to check them by hand either way before anyone sees them. So the check can just as well sit in front of the app instead of behind it.

Away from the screen

Running, gym, bike. Plus a dog who comes along for the running and not for the bike.
