School and company in one application: timetable, grades, homework, training log and absences.
Problem
Timetable, exams, homework and the training record lived in four separate systems. The company side had no fixed place at all.
Solution
One application with two areas. School covers timetable, grades, homework and appointments. Company covers training log, absences and work calendar.
My role
I named the problem from my own apprenticeship day-to-day, defined the features and workflows, accepted every version and run the application.
What the AI does
Claude Code and Cursor write the code to my brief. I read the changes, run the tests and decide what goes live.
The timetable comes from WebUntis, appointments sync with the calendar, homework with the task list. The training log goes out on its own every two weeks as a PDF to the trainer.
The application works for several people, with strictly separated data. It runs in daily use, not only on the machine: over a thousand commits in two months came from that everyday use.
